Lee Holdsworth and the IRWIN Racing crew completed their third and final test day of the 2012 V8 Supercars Championships at Queensland Raceway.
After an hour delay at the start of the day due to heavy fog at the Willowbank circuit, the skies cleared for a warm day of running.
Holdsworth completed over 100 laps of the track, as the team made various changes and trialled new components on the IRWIN Tools Falcon a week ahead of the next round of the V8 Series at the same circuit.
As well as the full Stone Brothers Racing engineering and technical staff in attendance, Sandown and Bathurst endurance co-driver Craig Baird was also on-hand to witness proceedings.
"I was really happy with the test today," said Lee Holdsworth.
"Even with the early delays with the fog, we still got through our programme which included a number of changes and got some of the development components, which the boys having been working really hard to get ready, on the car.
"We are now looking towards putting some of the lessons learned from today into practice next weekend.
The IRWIN Racing Falcon will be joined by 27 others cars at next weekend's Coates Hire Ipswich 300 with practice getting from Friday.
