7 September, 2010: Coming out of the mid-season break of the V8 Supercars Championship Series, Jim Beam Racing is unveiling a contemporary new look that’s set to bring a burst of energy to The Team for the L&H 500 Phillip Island and the remaining rounds of the Series.

The new livery, which will be seen on-track this weekend at the L&H 500 Phillip Island, brings across Jim Beam’s new ‘Romancing The Liquid’ brand design, to cars #17 and #18. The new look brings the Jim Beam brand to life in a fun and contemporary way and adds fresh energy to The Team as they endeavor to continue their quality form in the final rounds of the Series.

Ray Noble, Brand Director, Jim Beam, is looking forward to seeing the new cars on the track and says the introduction of Jim Beam’s new look to Jim Beam Racing is another example of the growing partnership and integration between Australia’s number one spirit brand and one of the nation’s best-loved sporting teams.

“Our partnership with Jim Beam Racing provides a great platform for us to introduce the legions of V8 fans in Australia to Jim Beam’s new look in a way they can be proud of. The new livery brings the brand to life while reinforcing the heritage and authenticity of the brand in a contemporary way. The new livery is a refreshing change to create excitement within The Team and amongst fans as we enter the second half of the Series.”

Motorsport legend, Dick Johnson of Jim Beam Racing, agrees: “Jim Beam is a true partner and we’ve been working hard during the mid-season break to bring Jim Beam’s new design to the cars in a way we know our fans will be proud of. We’ve had a great start to the Series, and we’re looking forward to getting back out there with a refreshed team, new livery, and maintaining our position on the V8 Supercars Championship Series Team Leadership Board.”
