There was none of the chaos of Spa at the start of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. In fact the whole field made it through the first chicane safely. Like Spa however it was the pole man who got away best with Lewis Hamilton in his McLaren leading the field. Behind him Ferrari driver Felipe Massa was able to jump Jenson Button in his McLaren.
