Scuderia Ferrari's 2010 championship got off to the best possible start as it secured maximum points when, after 49 laps, Fernando Alonso celebrated his race debut with the team as he crossed the line to take the chequered flag, to win the Bahrain Grand Prix. However it was a cruel start for Red Bull with Sebastian Vettel robbed of a race victory by a spark plug problem.
Sebastian Vettel stormed to pole position this afternoon at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

It’s been a busy winter… but at last the 2010 FIA Formula 1 World Championship is almost under way.
Testing has been busy but, as ever, a little inconclusive – simply because although all the teams have been working as hard as possible to get their cars to go as fast as is humanly possible in the time available, none of us really knows exactly how successful our rivals have been in that same endeavour.
