Daniel Erickson battled hard for not much reward today in rounds 20 and 21 of the British Formula Ford Championship on the Brands Hatch 'Indy' circuit.
Erickson placed fifth in round 20, and was set to record the same result in round 21 when an incident with championship challenger Josef Newgarden caused him to spin off the track. He regained the track in 14th place but recovered to 11th at the finish.
