Enigma Motorsport’s Olly Rae heads to Brands Hatch this weekend (18/19/20 May), to resume his debut campaign in the Dunlop MSA British Formula Ford Championship, with rounds 4, 5 & 6, taking place in front of a bumper audience in support of the DTM.

The 21 year-old from Albany, Western Australia, performed well in his first career car race last time out at Oulton Park, gaining a podium finish in the Duratec class on a circuit that he had never previously driven on.

Having tested at Brands Hatch twice previously, Rae approaches Brands Hatch buoyed by his recent performance and is sure that he will be able to challenge Enigma Motorsport teammate, George Blundell, for third position in the Duratec class, with Blundell just a mere five points ahead in third position in the championship standings.

"I've only tested at Brands twice before and like everything, practice makes perfect," explained Rae. "I had some good times during my tests, so hopefully I can carry that pace forward come Friday.”

“I think that the potential is definitely there for us to gain our first victory in the Duratec class this weekend, which would put us in a very good position looking ahead to the rest of the season.”

Brands Hatch timetable (GMT)
