Not for the first time this season Simon Evans found himself fighting a Pedder for the round win.This time however it was Mark rather than Scott and the result was still a dominating win for Evans.
Along with wife Sue, Simon won all stages in the Rally and took the outright honors leaving the Asia Pacific Rally Championship field in his wake also.
The result was enough for Evans to clinch his fourth ARC Championship moving him into legend status in the sport.
Rarely has a win be as dominant on this is recent Rally history.
Pedder held on to claim second, whilst Eli Evans overcame the at times severe lack of grip in his Honda to claim the last spot on the podium.
